About me...
Hey, nice to meet you! My name is Ari, and I am a first-grade teacher passionate about the Montessori method. I love Montessori teaching so much that I have been applying its principles to my teaching for years. Additionally, I personally prepare the unit studies for my students. For this reason, this website is like my little workshop, where you can find all the Montessori-inspired units that I have designed and created myself with lots of love.
And speaking of workshops… I want to tell you about my little studio where inspiration and magic bloom, the place where I design and I carefully prepare all the units.
The design process may seem effortless, but for me, it’s a ritual. My production process begins with the creative phase, where I start designing and bringing together all the ideas in my head. For this initial step, I always use my laptop and my design software, including Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. I also sometimes create my own illustrations using the Vectornator app on my iPad with the iPencil.
After completing the product, I give it a detailed review, and once I feel it’s ready to go, I export the digital file in PDF format and head to my local print shop to print it on high-quality paper.
Last but not least, it’s time to prepare the product for my shop. First, I capture a bunch of pictures with my camera. And finally, it’s time to prepare the product images by selecting the best pictures, editing them, creating additional slides, and sometimes even a video.
